Join The Organic City film crew in a tour of Old Oakland led by Annalee Allen. In this installment Annalee tells us about the history of Swans and some other local buildings on Clay St. between 9th St. and 10th St.

Annalee has coordinated the city sponsored Oakland Tours Program, promoting the efforts of volunteer guides who lead walking tours of Oakland’s downtown. In addition to leading tours for schools and other groups, Annalee recruits and trains potential new volunteers. The Oakland Tours Program is sponsored by the city’s Cultural Arts and Marketing Department.
