The Grand Lake Farmers Market is adjacent to Highway 580 at the corner of Grand and Lake Park Avenues directly across from the Grand Lake Theatre . Hours are 9 AM to 2 PM each and every Saturday. Four hours of free parking is available in the parking lot under the freeway with additional free parking across Grand Avenue in the Lakeview School parking lot.

The market regularly features more than 50 vendors offering produce, prepared foods and arts and crafts. It is managed by the Marin County Farmers Market Association, a non-profit agency enabling growers to sell certified, farm-fresh produce directly to consumers.

On Saturday morning the 4th of March, The Organic City film crew interviewed Jim Fenton, the market manager. We discovered awhole range of diverse and friendly vendors, fun attractions, uplifting music and a welcoming, community atmosphere. This Market is the jewel on Lake Merritt’s necklace of lights and an excellent community resource for top quality produce, prepared food, and arts and crafts.
