Squirrel oh squirrel high in a tree.
From joggers and children you constantly flee.
You’ve suffered through heartache bruises and cuts;
all in the name of saving your nuts.

Pigeon oh pigeon from darkest to lightest!
When speaking of fowl your kind aren’t the brightest.
What a moth is to moonlight you are to stink.
If not for garbage you’d all be extinct.

Seagull oh seagull you soar with such heft.
When I hear your squawking I envy the deaf.
With pigeons and mallards you put up a fight.
While you all paint the sidewalks a shade of off white.

Geese oh Geese I praise you in verse.
Your feathers are dirty your manners are worse.
But you’d be the highest, the king of all birds;
if greatness was measured by the size of one’s turds.
